A machine (tennis ball launcher) and its use of man-made objects (snooker balls) create an analogy for the absurdity of mechanical force. The film begins with a movement, as one side of the net appears to unleash its aggression on the other, and the viewer becomes complicit as a witness to this one-sided dialogue.
