For the exhibition Victory Obsessed, Gruber’s site-specific sculpture Us was installed in the center of the former office of Adolf Hitler in the Kultury Zamek Centrum. The institution is located in a castle that was built by the last German emperor, Wilhelm II, at the beginning of the twentieth century; however, after the Nazis invaded to Poznan in 1939, the castle was reconstructed as a residence for Hitler. Around that same period, another key architectural decision was made: the synagogue of Poznan was turned into a swimming pool.
